Communities get healthier

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Division of Community Health

Since 2011, we have supported the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in one of the nation’s largest efforts to fight chronic disease. Through communication training and technical assistance, we built behavior change capacity for more than 200 communities across the United States. The result: Communities are now better equipped to strengthen activities that reduce tobacco use, increase physical activity, improve nutrition and address health disparities.
